Porada “Infinity” Dining Table – Stefano Bigi – Canaletta Walnut & Glass – Made in Italy
Elegant round dining table in solid Canaletta walnut (Juglans nigra, American black walnut), mounted on a chromed steel base and fitted with a 12 mm tempered glass top. The sculptural base consists of three interlocking circular elements which create the illusion that the structure appears to float in space when viewed from different angles — a defining feature of the celebrated Infinity design. The Canaletta walnut displays a warm milk‑chocolate brown tone with a refined natural grain.
Designed by Stefano Bigi for Porada. Bigi established his design studio in Milan in 2005 and has collaborated with several leading contemporary furniture manufacturers. The Infinity table is a refined example of contemporary Italian design, combining sculptural form with functional elegance.

Condition
Very good condition. Minimal and practically invisible signs of use. The chrome base shows only a few extremely light hairline scratches. Overall close to near‑mint condition.
Transport / Assembly
For safe transport the glass top (approx. 40 kg) is currently separated from the base. When fully assembled, the table measures 130 cm in diameter and 75 cm in height. Transporting the table as a single piece requires a turning clearance of approximately 150 cm, which can exceed the available space in staircases, doorways and many standard elevators.
Separating the glass top therefore greatly facilitates safe transport and handling.
The table is normally assembled using UV bonding, the standard professional method used for glass furniture. Reassembly can easily be carried out on site by a professional glass specialist. Estimated cost: approx. €200.
Rarity
The Infinity table by Stefano Bigi appears only infrequently on the secondary market and is rarely encountered in Northern Europe.
